By having some cameras on display and then hidden cameras you can cleverly catch thieves out as they will break those on display and then think themselves safe not realizing they're being recorded by hidden cameras.

Likewise you can use a GPS tracker on your items so that even if they do manage to bypass your other security equipment you can still track them to wherever you've taken your things.
